Congratulations to the winning crews Thames Rowing Club, Oxford Brooks University Boat Club and St Paul's School Boat Club, in Club, Student, and Junior categories respectively! Elston Consulting, founded in 2012 by former rower Henry Cobbe, supports British Rowing by supporting London Youth Rowing, National Schools Regatta, and this year for the first time by sponsoring the Marlow Regatta Grand Challenge Cup which is divided into three categories - Club, University/Student and School/Junior.      Since 2024, Elston has been supporting cricket in Scotland. As lead sponsor of the Elston Clydesdale 1st XI Cricket Team, we are proud to be sponsoring this Glasgow-based club. The team had an unbeaten run in 2025 crowned by winning the Scottish Cup. We wish the team the best of luck for this 2026 season.   For the past two years, Elston Consulting has been the lead sponsor of Scottish squash club Strathgryffe. Based on the outskirts of Glasgow, the club competes in the West of Scotland squash leagues and has finished 2nd and 3rd over the last two seasons. It's a competitive league, with professional players well represented in the first division, where the first team competes. Among that first team is Elston's own Scott Adams (photographed above).
The squash season wrapped up last weekend with the annual Club Championships, where players compete across the Junior, Ladies, Veteran and Open events throughout May. Scott Adams reached the final of the Open event this year but, unfortunately, lost a hotly contested match in front of a packed crowd on Friday evening. Elston is proud to continue supporting local sport in Scotland, helping the club serve its community and enabling its teams to compete across all seven divisions. 
For the second year running, we are proud to be supporting the "Elston: Support Your Local Air Ambulance" race at Goodwood Racecourse at 5.20pm on Sunday 7th June 2026 - as part of the Goodwood Family Race Day.
 We were delighted to sponsor the Elston Consulting EBF Maiden Fillies Stakes at Goodwood. Congratulations to Bunny Roberts (owner) Richard Hannon (trainer) and Pat Dobbs (jockey) and of course Dark Issue on winning!

This weekend over 5,000 young athletes will be competing at Dorney Lake - the rowing venue of the London 2012 Olympics. Elston is supporting the regatta because rowing is a sport that requires dedication, determination and grit. These qualities prove invaluable through life as many of my cohort of rowers can attest. So while most spectators, family and friends will be supporting a particular team, we are really proud to back the whole event. I know how much each race means to each rower. And I also know how much work goes on behind the scenes with teachers, coaches, and parents. Whether it’s the vats of food, the heaps of washing, or the precise pain of an ergo target. Rowing is not just a thing. It becomes everything. And later on in life you may find — as I have — that it’s the friends you make in this sport — your crew — who are the ones who will stick by each other through thick and thin for many years to come. And that’s the greatest result of all. Good luck to all crews. By choosing and sticking to this path — you’re already winning.
